Carbon Credits For Our Footprint - What Are We Walking Into?by Trend Authority on 04 Dec 2011 permalink
Although caring for the environment is a commendable cause, politicians have done everything in their power to fail the trust of their electorates. The political correctness about the environment and other issues makes law abiding citizens smell a rat.
You can now download some software to calculate the total set of greenhouse gases emissions caused by a company or a household. The next step is to mitigate the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere through alternative projects such as solar or wind energy or reforestation. The plot thickens when you consider that using electrical appliances or an electric car is not in itself immune from the equation. It all depends how the electricity was produced. Since we are all connected to the grid rather than producing our own power individual households have precious little control over that. The bottom line? In an utopian world where there are no wars, no thieves, no deception you might imagine such a scheme to work. Carbon trading was trumpeted as the meeting point for all participants. Now let me ask you: Does your superannuation fund invest in carbon futures? No - that was another great idea which never saw the light of day. If politicians can't produce a decent return for the taxes we invest in their government what makes us think they will be any more successful at playing god and controlling the weather? One thing is certain. This is the age of the new spin doctors - the globalist peddlers. Their unspoken goals are world government, one world currency, one world religion. They control mass media and are experts at putting thoughts in our minds which are not our own. Their mode of operation is to whip to a frenzy issues that didn't exist even 20 years ago and unite the world to action by getting nations to relinquish their sovereignty to some doubtful World Bank, IMF, European Union, etc... The best way to portray yourself as an expert is to invent a new field of expertise. Just like in sport where connecting a kite to a surfboard creates a brand new sport called kite-surfing, in terms of global issues you can argue that the nuclear radiation from Chernobyl knew no borders - therefore, move aside, let the experts take charge. Few politicians will oppose them because by definition a politician is someone who can sniff the prevailing wind and move with the flow - the sooner, the more kudos. You want to be seen as a leader right? If you are looking for a rewarding job, target government departments recruiting pseudo-scientists who can justify just about any foregone conclusion with expensive research. All you have to do is put your integrity in your pocket and tow the party line. If you have any misgivings left it's because you haven't been to all the seminars yet, to build your mind to think like a globalist. Just a few more earthquakes, epidemics, financial crisis, eclipses of the sun, tsunamis, systemic failures of infrastructures and you have all the ammunitions you need to justify your crusade. The last straw will be when out of the blue; about one third of human population will vanish in thin air. A sudden event that never took place before and never to be repeated. That will keep those left behind abash, wondering what the supernatural will bring next. I thought magic was for nursery rhymes. But everything is under control will the antichrist claim on a simulcast news update. To find out more about Christian values check out http://witness4christ.net
