Bangles and high heel shoes - how women like to bring attention to themselvesby Trend Authority on 02 Oct 2011 permalink
Making a discreet noise to get yourself noticed in a social setting is one way to go about it. But does the sought-after male respond to those clues anymore?
There will be a time when the best talked about strategies will stop to work. What will you do then? Are you striving so hard that you have lost your identity and don't know who you are anymore? Trying to emulate the top models in glossy magazines might work if your field is fashion, but what about real life? In your attempt to land Mr Perfect you will come across many duds. What is your definition of love? Here is one that comes to mind (I will let you guessing for a while as to where it comes from): Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. If love has failed you in the past the paragraph above seems to come from another planet. It does not mention about bangles and high heels though. In fact it seems to negate everything about self-promotion and highlight the benefits of having a servant heart. Would that be what every real-man out there is desperate to find? Would it be that you have been searching in all the wrong places? Have you been fishing with the wrong bait, in the wrong stream, ignoring the tides and the currents? The way to find true love is to see it in action. A real man will wear his values on his sleeve. Check out those who offer their time and labour as a volunteer with altruistic motives. The best way to come across men with a big heart is to mingle in your local community looking for opportunities to do good. Do you hear of people who go out of their way to help someone in need? Handing out cash is easy, giving of your time and substance is what is building bridges. So instead of trawling facebook checking out your so-called friends relationship status why not entering the real world. Relationships come naturally to those who share a common goal, a common purpose. The way someone treats strangers and people in need is the way he is going to treat you also in the long run.
